Very fun place to visit. You can see cute lamas, as well as learn about them and about the process of creating articles of clothing from the wool of alpacas.
Free tour with cool history, Wortham visit. Nice clothes
Nice place to go. Very nice little museum. Thanks
I have a fond spot for Michell & CIA SA because it was founded by an Englishman who started this llama and alpaca factory. I met him once in the early 1980’s, before he passed away, and while I was working in an Arequipenian English school in the Peruvian Andes called Prescott that Mr Michell helped fund. His legacy is this successful natural fabric company that continues to today. The quality of Michell products is high and I recommend when you go to this store you see the historic evolvement of the equipment he used to create these high quality natural products ... you may also wish to pop in to his mini zoo where you will see a handful of these beautiful camelids with written charts and descriptions of their heritage.
Great place to visit. Very interesting tour with animals and weaving. Worth a bit of time.
Don't have the time to see alpaca in nature you can find a few here, fun for your kid if you got one
You MUST come here if you want quality alpaca yarn from a reputable company. Sales bin had good bargains but note that there are mixed blends, according to the staff.
