Best place I've stayed in since 2014. We booked 2 full rooms and they gave us an extra living room. Basically we had an apartment. AMAZING TIME! Also very clean. Rate: Good, Pretty, Cheap.

The place is clean, the staff is very nice as well as helpful and the Internet connection works marvelously. The place is well located (a few hundred meters away from the main square (Plaza de Armas)) and is quite cheap (around 5 USD per bed / per night). Nevertheless, there is only one bathroom for the whole hostel which also serve as toilets: expect to wait for going to the toilets if someone is in the shower. The hot water tank is really small (regarding the size of the hostal) so you might experience cold showers if you wanna take it right after someone finished the tank. There is a kitchen which is clean and furnished but it is really small as well (two gas fire, one small sink, almost no room to cook especially if someone left some food in a pot behind him). The common area is limited to the entrance corridor and the rooftop. This rooftop is still under construction (but you can have access to it). It offers excellent views over the surrounding mountains but no light / electricity plugs which does not make it a nice place to stay/eat once it gets dark. The night comes with a free breakfast which is good and that you can enjoy on the rooftop: 2 bread, jam, butter, ham, tea, coffee and freshly made fruit juice. Regarding the night, the beds are very confortable but the hostel is along a street where people tend to horn a lot until at least 11pm. The soundproofing of the room does not cover this noise. Last but not least electrical plugs in the 5-beds room are lousy which depending on you plugs can be a real challenge to get electricity. Overall, even if the stay was okay I would recommend to look for another place if you intend to stay more than a couple of nights.

Nice beds, nice bathrooms (with hot showers during the day), cool rooftop, and very cheap! Plus: super nice staff. HOWEVER: the hostel is located near a very loud intersection. Now I know what you're thinking: "I've been in Peru for X days/months, I can handle loud!". Well so I thought. So unless you have earplugs the size of the moon or are clinically deaf, I suggest not going in the room at the end of the hallway (I can't speak for the other rooms)

We really like the staff here, much kinder and helpful than any of the hostels we’ve stayed in. 4 stars because it could get loud throughout the night outside as there is a taxi stand nearby.

In December 2018, they were renovating the hostel, leaving only half of the hostel available for lodging.

Buena ubicación, a 500 mts de la plaza de armas. Las camas son cómodas, tiene ducha con agua caliente. El personal muy amable, solo acepta pago en efectivo.
