Airport park is a very nice park. My second time coming here gave me the opportunity to ride my bike on what I thought was one trail... NOPE!!! This park has MANY trails that you can ride for hours! There’s also spots to watch airplanes take off and land since you’re right at Regan Airport. Given that this park is very popular, your best bet is to go when it’s less crowded. Also, this park provides space to have picnics as well. Too much to pass by in one day when you’re riding the trails, but for anyone who’s looking for a good walk/run/ride in a nice park with pretty good scenery, then I’d highly recommend this park. If you’re traveling- plan ahead. You will run into MD/DC/VA traffic depending on when you go... but otherwise you’ll have a great time

Absolutely fantastic view of airplanes taking off down the runway at Reagan International Airport. Free parking too.

Excellent family spot. You can park and watch the planes land, ride bikes (rentals available) on the trail, picnic, roller skate, skateboard, watch the boats, watch wave runners, throw the Frisbee, play soccer, chill and more!!!
