This is nothing like classic Carvel in NY/NJ/CT. The workers gave me a cup of plain vanilla ice cream when I asked for cake batter. They looked at me like I was crazy.... then I order door dash and they completely make the order wrong. As a native New Yorker, save your money and go elsewhere, this is a pathetic excuse for carvel.

The BEST place for ice cream! This place is an iconic stop, just like Mario's Pizza. It has the feel of your hometown memories. Love Carvel!
I wish this wasn't one of the only places to get a soft serve ice cream in this area. The ice cream is good as it's Carvel, but very expensive and small for the price. No matter if they are busy or empty, the customer service is always severely lacking. They are rude. As a soft serve ice cream lover it's unfortunate that this is one of the only options (which is why it gets so busy, not because it's great).
I'm from Soth Jersey, and miss being able to get a Philly Cheese Steak. Marios in Arlington used to have an older black gentleman who made their cheese steaks, wasn't like back home but was close. Looks like Marios has a new owner, I knew the Cheese Steak would be terrible when I saw them toasting the roll! They burned the steak which looked normal! Terrible!
