We had a nightmare experience with this company. I chose them based on the excellent reviews which I am now questioning if are fake? Everything was good when I spoke to the representative he gave me a very competitive price and said because they already have a truck in NJ it should be pretty seamless. I was given every indication that a dedicated van lines truck & team members would be coming to pack and pick up our things. Unfortunately, the day before our move I found out our move had been outsourced to a local company called One Way Van Lines, which had horrible reviews but at this point it was too late for me to cancel. When I booked with Dedicated Van Lines, I expected the same company to do our move. If it was going to be handed off to another company, this should have been indicated before booking so we could have made an informed decision. The movers that came were careless with our things and basically just shoved all of our belongings into boxes with no regard for proper packing. Packages of pasta and cereal were thrown in with heavy items thrown on top creating a mess for us when unpacking (see pictures). I have a 275 Luggage bag and 180 speakers that are now missing. Several items of furniture are damaged. I would not recommend to anyone. Make sure before you book if dedicated van lines is actually going to be doing your move or if they are going to hand it off to a local company.

Ryan Gold, their representative, gave us a competitive price for a white gloves out of state move. He said we had a "Memorial Day" deal 45 days of free storage. Unfortunately Dedicated Van Lines is nothing else than a broker. They are all but dedicated. They outsource your move and once you have paid the 1st part, they could not care less, most of the time do not answer emails, calls, texts,... As for us, a moving company from LA came and packed our things. We had asked for a few boxes before our move to start packing but Ryan Gold said no. The movers that came were careless with our things and basically just shoved all of our belongings into boxes with no regard for proper packing, even with fragile items we had specifically shown them. They did not protect floors, had their shoes so dirty that they stained our carpets. We had so many things broken and/or damaged and the insurance is close to zero. Nearly 4 months after delivery we are still waiting for a bit of compensation for broken items. They even stole a statue and a frame. After a few months of storage, we had to find by ourselves who to call to get a delivery date, who to pay the storage to (in order to have the truck leave the warehouse) . No help from Dedicated Van Lines at all. Beginning of October we asked for a delivery on Oct 29th. Believe it or not, we got delivered on Dec 6th !!! We had to go 3 weeks to a hotel. No refund at all from the moving company. We have moved more than 10 times in 20 years and never did we get such a bad service. Dedicated Van Lines is a shame for this industry. Avoid at all costs. Super professional moving crew! I've hired other companies before and never received this kind of care for my possessions and consideration as to where I wanted to place them at my new place! Sure, they were a little bit more than my other moves, but worth every single penny! The crew never complained, once, about doing their job and were very courteous and polite. Even while wearing masks, they pushed through to complete the job all the way, they didn't compromise the quality of service at any point unlike my other experiences. I will definitely hire these guys again. Thank you for a job well done If you want to make sure your move is successful with true professionals and no casualties, go with these guys, you will not regret it!
It went very well. My initial email inquiry generated a call back within an hour. I received a quote over the phone and set up an appointment. Three movers showed up as expected a few minutes early. They moved quickly & carefully. They were very patient when I wanted a few more things moved at the last minute. Great experience.
I wanted to express my sincere thanks for the help during my recent move. A team of four gentlemen arrived at my old address on the morning and quickly loaded all of my belongings onto the truck. Upon arrival at the new address, my belongings were again quickly unloaded. The guys encountered an obstacle when my sofa did not fit in the building elevators, but they still delivered my sofa ? up 21 flights of stairs! I never heard one word of complaint over my obvious measuring errors. The guys were really terrific, and I knew that my belonging were in safe hands during the entire move. This is my second move using Dedicated Van Lines and I would highly recommend your services.
David and his crew did a fantastic job moving 30 boxes and many pieces of furniture, and they even disassembled/reassembled my bed frame because it wouldn’t fit up the stairs - all during a tropical storm! They are smart, adaptive, and friendly. I will definitely use Dedicated Van Lines next time I am moving.
Great moving company. They will pick up and deliver your furniture without any dents or any other issues. The most hard-working people that I've ever met. Love the quality and business they provide! They picked up stuff from the pod and moved it to my house. They were on time, super reliable and wrapped anything that is fragile and took their time to make sure nothing is damaged. They're also very reasonable and I highly recommend them.
