Back in 2010 I used to go to J.R. Bentley's on a daily basis between and after classes. This pub is still going strong, having survived a fire and been built back, I'm glad to see it going strong. Fantastic layout, atmosphere, staff, prices, food and drinks. J.R. Bentley's has it all, whether you're looking for a party, or a chill venue for great food and a relaxing drink, J.R. Bentley's is the only place in Arlington you need to be. Try out my favorite burger The Barron, a blackened pepper burger, which is made just like 9 years ago, and brought back a lot of great memories.

Went last night for singer songwriter night. New local guy played well. Cheeseburger was great, fish & chips very good. Nice choice on beers. Funny server at bar entertained us a bit. Crowd is younger as its next to UTA. But all behaved nicely... quite a story about pub history too. Give it a try... I think you'll be happy there.
I can’t Speak on the burgers because I didn’t try it. However I really enjoyed their pulled pork,It was very hearty as well as the crinkled fries! The order came with condiments and a knife. It is very reasonable,take advantage of the specials they have. Very good customer service,The servers were friendly and attentive. The decor of this place resembled a bar but open seating. Definitely recommend this restaurant,the food was delicious!
