Went here after my girlfriend forced the beauty shop next door upon me. The food is fantastic, service was great, and everything was well priced. Best Bolivian food in the greater DC area! Ignore the bad review from the boomer who was mad this wasn't Applebees.

My wife and I decided to come here since we were near by. This place really is a hole in the wall spot. It's not well lit and they have a 4x4 area in the front dubbed as stage for karaoke. Upon entering I asked if we can sit anywhere and the waitress said yes. So we picked our table and looked over the menu. The prices were very affordable. There was not a huge selection. My wife had 2 chicken salteñas since that is all they had left and I had the beef milanesa. I actually ordered the chicken milanesa but they messed up. I can handle beef so I wasn't upset or going to cause an issue over it. The salteñas were reheated and served hot as they were sitting in a display case. My wife mentioned that the chicken was not really shredded like most other places. But that wasn't a deal breaker. She stated that it wasn't that bad; however, it wouldn't be her first go to place for salteñas. I get my plate and it was a lot of food. For the price, you can't go wrong with the serving. I wasn't thrilled that I didn't get what I ordered but that's fine cause I was hungry and needed to eat. However, the beef was beyond greasy. It looked like someone just poured oil on it as a sauce. The fries were big cut and stuck together cause it was so greasy. The rice was similar to how I would make mine at home so I was okay with that. And the salad wasn't bad either. We ended up taking all the food to go because I couldn't stomach the food any more and my wife gave up after the first salteña. We ended up giving all our left overs to a homeless man. I doubt he cared if it was greasy or not. I was hoping the food would be good as most hole in the wall places have good food. I know we will not be back.

this little mom and pop storefront is trying to be too many things to too many people. billed as a pizzeria, it features south american cuisine (I don't remember from which country: Peru? Bolivia? Ecuador?). They may do that well--I didn't try it. I would not recommend the pizza. Bready crust and unremarkable toppings. ( for pizza, 1-2 stars; giving them 3 with a guess the other food is better).
