Fantastic park and nature center. The manager and staff were amazingly helpful for my daughter when she worked on her Silver Award for Girl Scouts there.

Absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend Potomac Heritage Trail- beautiful streams and rock crossings. Enjoyed the Nature Center as well! Learned that Arlington is on a Fall line between the Piedmont Province and the Atlantic Coastal Plain!

Really cool park! They are lots of hiking trails to follow. Great views of nature. Percy place to take your kids on a nature walk. The park will provide guided nature tours as well as live animals in the nature center.

For the last decade I've come to this park sporadically to hike and trail run, as a change of pace (I mainly play basketball). After the pandemic started trail running has become my main activity. Now I come to this park, and nearby parks (Windy Run, Donaldson Run, Zachary Tailor, Gulf Branch), about 3-4 days a week. They are all beautiful and well maintained. I feel very fortunate to live close enough to enjoy this park regularly. In these times, when the rest of our lives are spent inside, this place is life saver!

Lovely trails! My favorite part of this park is the garden that is open to walk through. It’s full of veggies and signs that teach visitors about vegetable gardening. A great spot to stroll through.
