My husband and I just recently enjoyed a weekend stay at the West Mountain Inn. The experience was completely pleasurable from the lodging accommodations to the delicious meals. I came across the Vermonters weekend advertised on Facebook. I immediately thought it would be perfect for my husbands birthday weekend. We stayed in the Mill House on the property. Enjoying the coziness of a fireplace, convenience of a kitchen, and comfort of a king size bed. Close friends also stayed in the Mill House in adjoining townhouse. This worked out perfectly as we had many laughs together throughout the weekend. Many thank yous to inn owner Aime for your patience with us and making us feel welcome. This is a New England storybook inn that you thought only existed in your dreams. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, cozy fireplaces, a warm inviting restaurant with fantastic food set in a seemingly make believe mountain setting. I felt like my first visit was my 20th the way staff treated my family like we were their family. I have travelled all over the world for work and stayed at some of the nicest hotels on six different continents, and this has to be one of my favorites of all time. Also great if you love animals with the dogs and alpacas living on site. IF Hollywood was making a charming family run New England inn for a movie, they couldn't create somewhere like this. I can't wait until our next stay.

The West Mountain Inn is a wonderful, warm place to stay. The buildings and rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished and make you feel that you are someplace special. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. And the food is excellent. Plus it is spectacularly located with hiking trails right on the property. And we loved the llamas!

My wife and I have been going to the West Mountain Inn for the past 27 years. The place is as well kept as always. Lovely, relaxing, always friendly local staff. And the food never disappoints. Also, the area is simply gorgeous no matter what time of year it is. Highly recommended!

West Mountain Inn is beautiful. This was our fourth time going there. The service is always fantastic as is the food. We ate dinner at the inn two nights during our stay and both nights the food was excellent! (Breakfasts are always phenomenal and come with dessert if you have room.). This was our only trip during Covid and in light of Covid, the service and policies followed were exceptional.

As excellent to stay (again and again) as the day we got married here. Food is fresh and local - Staff is ever pleasant and the grounds are just dreamy. I'm not telling you which room is the best - but they are all worth trying. Dog friendly in the millhouse too!
