A great zoo with a lot of varieties. Rain forest, desert and aquarium are our favorite. Very sweet and thoughtful design, for both tourists and animals. Enough space to share and play. The kids playground is also big enough. Easy route to follow, not very crowded.

In my opinion one of the best zoos this country has to offer. The ecodisplays provide a fascinating experience of stepping into the animals' native habitat, where they can roam free and where the guests are the visitors. There's a lot of focus on the animals' wellbeing as a higher priority than entertainment value. A lot of effort is put into making sure the animals can exhibit their natural behavior as much as possible. The ecodisplays are also host to numerous exotic plants, from real mangrove trees to dozens of types of ginger, and from recognizable saguaro cacti to trees producing giant jackfruit. The living coral reef is something to behold, and with everything being as close to nature as possible, you can't help but feel like you're visiting the animals in their home, instead of looking at animals in cages.

What a great Zoo if you can call it a zoo. This was more like huge habitats and the animals lived there and you were able to see them. We had a great time. You could tell this place is taken care of by people who care about animals. We spent 3 hours walking around. The ocean was amazing. So was the jungle...okay the whole place was awesome. Don’t forget to book your tickets online first, you have to have a reservation.

It's a beautiful and big zoo. With children, we often have to skip some parts. I love the bush, safari, dessert and mangrove areas the most. But all areas showcase the name nicely. The playgrounds are also great and childproofed.

Such a wonderful day! This zoo is amazing. Even with the different rules because of coronavirus, we still had a great time. Some paths and entrances/exits are closed which makes the zoo a bit of a puzzle. We ended up walking to the same places over and over again because the other paths were closed. I liked the thematic areas, the jungle and the desert ones were my favourites. The animals look healthy and well kept. In general it was very nice and worth the visit if you're in Arnhem. There's a bus stop right outside the zoo, convenient if you don't have a car.
