Very central location in Arrecife, right by the main multi storey car park. Books & Papers has a very modern look, with large glass windows and chest high light wooden shelving. This gives it a pleasant, relaxing ambience that encourages you to browse through their extensive choice of books and stationary. I was particularly pleased as they have a foreign language section. They have a reasonable quantity of titles, in English, French, German and Italian. Maybe others too that I didn't notice. They also stock foreign language newspapers and sudoku books amongst others. The staff are friendly and helpful, and provided you have a little Spanish, it's not difficult to find what you want. Prices of the foreign books are not cheap (I paid 10.10 for mine), but were cheaper than at the airport for instance. The store is fully accessible and getting around in a wheelchair should be possible. Whether you are a local or on holiday, this shop is well worth visiting.

Cada vez que hemos ido a por algún producto no lo han tenido,o no han sabido buscarlo. Las dependientas no muestran ni el más mínimo interés en atenderte. Más de CINCO meses esperando por una revista de crucigramas (que siempre han tenido) y cuando le preguntas,parecece que le estás hablando en chino. Qué pena... da una impresión de dejadez absoluta.
Wij kopen graag boekjes voor de kleinkinderen in de landstaal, hier dus het Spaans. Uitgebreude collectie. Midden in het centrum van Arrecife.
