Called them and a couple other companies for an estimate for a furnace repair. Bernie came out to inspect and was very friendly and communicative. He clearly explained the issues and different options, weighing them realistically. From the approximate quote received, their company is already far cheaper than an approximate cost I received from another local company. Was happy with the honest customer service and will likely choose this company for future work.

Last Fall had two AC units Humidifier installed. Installer did not install the outside temperature sensor for the humidifier. Placed a service call to ask them to install the temp sensor. Technician shows up with out the temp sensor. Orders the temp sensor and they call and schedule the repair a week later. Tech never shows up or calls to say they are not coming. Rescheduled, this time he shows up and fixed the problem. Last month they called to schedule a 6 month maintenance. They want to schedule a 5 hour window which is ridiculous. I scheduled for after 2pm. I get a call at 8:30pm saying that they are coming over to do a maintenance. Which means they will not get there until 9pm and probably will not be finished until 10pm. I had to cancel because I get up for work at 4:30am. I have been trying to get a hold of a manager ever since to discuss scheduling. I have left a message for the service manager(Mike Lindsay?) twice. The quality manager once(Amanda?) and also the General Manager (Mike Skirtus?)once. No one will call me back. I do not see why they can not accommodate a service call between 2pm and 5pm. Is that unreasonable? Also, my basement has leaked since they installed the AC units. I was not sure of the source until this last rain storm. The installer reused the refrigerant lines and did not properly reseal the egress through the basement wall after jarring and wiggling the lines during the install.

The Technician, Dean, was very courteous, patient and professionally provided me with recommendations for my system need. He didn't sound like salesman, he remained technical and explained the reasons for his recommendations / suggestions. I would recommend Dean to any home owner out there with HVAC challenges. He was straight up about potential costs, and he made a solid recommendation for what he thought would be in my best interest. Jimmie Oden came to inspect my families' central air system. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He made professional recommendations but did not use high pressure sales techniques. During the inspection he identified a loose wire which was causing one of the three heating units not to work correctly. He explained why and re-spliced the wire. Before he left I could already feel the difference in the temperature. Thank you Jimmie!

ARS has wonderful technicians who are courteous and respect your home. They take all the precautions for COVID and also wear shoe covers inside your home. They don’t try to sell me what I don’t need but will tell me if I need cleaning on the outside unit.

They came to the house same day to evaluate the heat/AC unit, diagnose the problem, offer repair or replacement. They also were able to provide on the same day a well trained sales associate/technician who took time to measure and determine the right product options, explain the differences, and offer the best prices. He also discussed the cost savings of a new unit. ARS even was able to get NEXT DAY installation by pleasant, trained personnel who kept the areas clean and used COVID precautions and explained how the system and thermostat worked. Could not have had a better experience!
