I had a Philippe Augé painting from the 1970s that I loved but the paint was buckling and about to fall off in many places. I called Andrei and he had worked on an Augé in the past. He knew the painter's technique and said it suffered from "inherent vice," which meant the technique itself was causing the instability of the paint. He was very honest about why it would be a difficult job and what he thought he could do for the painting. When I saw the result of his restoration a few months later I was absolutely thrilled. The painting is as beautiful as ever and now has a vastly extended life. The cost was reasonable. I cannot recommend Andrei highly enough.

Just had an oil painting cleaned and a tear repaired by Andrei. He quoted very quickly and it was reasonable (less than I expected). It was really easy to arrange drop off. It was ready in two weeks. The tear is basically invisible and it's so lovely to have the painting repaired to it's former glory.
I can not be happier than the day I saw my large oil painting restored to its original state. The quality of his workmanship is superior. I made the right and best choice.
I bought a very large canvas painting in Havana. It was sent to me off the stretcher. When I had it put back on a new stretcher, it would not hang taut and it could not be stretched to get the wrinkles out. The canvas was of an inferior quality and it tore when it was pulled. It sagged from top to bottom. Andrei put a new complicated lining on it which rendered it absolutely smooth and beautiful. Because of the size of the canvas, it was a difficult and tedious procedure. It turned out to be magnificent. My husband and I are very grateful to Andrei for the quality of his work and patience. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a painting in need of restoration.

Andrei did a great job on a 19th century painting that I bought inexpensively on ebay. He repaired the scratches, brought the painting itself "back to life" with coats of varnish, and even repaired the antique frame so that it didn't warp. It looks much better and made a big difference.
