Still looking at the very poorly framed and now ruined vintage silk scarf the owner of ArtBeat framed for me . Yes a rare vintage and very expensive Van Cleef and Arpels pure silk scarf was glued into a frame in about two minutes whilst I watched assuming this woman knew what she was doing ? Spray glue was used and now my scarf sits ruined behind glass. It’s uneven and sits in bunches of wrinkles and I really do not know how I will ever get over having this treasured piece of art totally ruined. Iv since been to other framers in Burton to have silk art framed and they have painstakingly pinned the silk into a frame resulting in the most beautiful framing that I am able to admire on my walls. Just how it should be. Incidentally ArtBeat charged more for their shoddy , rushed work
