Friendly staff, assortment of terrain, trees to ski in (other mtns still had theirs closed off), and affordable lift tickets (accept credit too). They also have a couple resteraunts/cafeterias (one at the top with great views)

A nice place to snowboard. Multiple choices of slopes to suit different need from beginners to expert. Near to town as well. Definitely a good place beside luxury resort such like Furano and Niseko.
Potential but not enough snow during my visit. We had about 10cm fresh on hard pack. Looks like there is some good off piste but I think you would need a solid base to make it truly accessible. Facilities good, tickets and food reasonably priced.
Condition of the rented ski gears were better than generally getting. Thank you very much for the courteous service.
Great little ski area about 40min bus ride out of Asahikawa. One 4 person Gondola & about half dozen double chairs, so there isn't a great deal of variation but surprisingly enough to keep ones interest for a day or two. Lift tickets are a steal in the mid 3000's for an all day Adult, not to mention high 2000's for Seniors. Go over to the far left chairlift off the Gondola for a great uncluttered piste.
