If you're looking for something upscale or the utmost in comfort and privacy, this isn't the place. I had a small budget and was looking for someplace to stay as a solo traveler last summer. It's not fancy, but if you are looking to meet people, get out of your comfort zone and have a really special personal experience this is the place. The host is incredibly friendly and generous. We had a little barbecue and drinks with his friends and some other guests and it was a highlight of my trip. Next time I am in Japan I will see him again :)

Quite small but very cozy, especially in winter. The friendly owner was very helpful in helping me navigate the wild Ramen jungle that is Asahikawa. Can be a bit of a walk from the station but I would definitely stay here again.
Slightly overpriced for what it is: a cheap dormatory in a house. There's one toilet for the 8 beds, and one shower. The beds are very noisy so you'll make noise or get woken up as soon a someone moves a bit too much. The owner is very nice though and very friendly, but the place isn't great. An okay place for one night as it's one of the cheapest in town, but nothing more
저렴한 비용의 숙소입니다. 저렴한 시설의 숙소입니다. 그러나 직원은 친절하고 유연합니다...바로 앞에 공항 오고가는 75번 버스가 있는게 장점이나, 횟수가 적으니 확인필요합니다. 뒷편 골목이 은좌거리라고 전통시장같은 분위기입니다...숙소를 포함해서 근처시장통 그리고 저녁에 들려오는 소리가 어우러져...일본 기층민중?의 삶을 체험한다 생각하면 좋습니다. ㅎㅎ...대신에 깔끔 청결 조용 원하시는 분은 비추 (이건 별관 2인실 얘기, 본관 도미토리는 별개...가정집 개조라 비슷할듯)
スタッフの方にとても良くして頂き、楽しい１日を過ごす事が出来ました。建物内は古さは有りますが、掃除がとても行き届いており快適でした。是非また行きたいと思っています。
일본 일반 가정집의 느낌이라 좋아요 사장님도 친절하나 집에 약간의 냄새가 불쾌감을 줄 수도 있습니다.(2층은 냄새가 안 나지만 3층은 조금 나도라고요...)
レトロではなく汚い。ボロいアパートを改築した建物かカビ臭く、隣で話している笑い声が煩い。こんな宿は久しぶりだ。 スタッフさんは親切で気さくなのがメリットかなあ。もう来ないと思う。
2泊させていただきましたが、二段ベッドでも大変快適に過ごさせていただきました。一度チェックインしていれば出入りは自由とのことなので夜遅くても静かに行動すれば他の宿泊者の方にもそれほど迷惑はかかりません。充電に関しては部屋にはコンセントが少なくタコ足配線したうえで2口/人としたものなのでせいぜいスマホぐらいです。
