True Japanese hospitality and service! Even before we arrived at the restaurant, they already had our table setup with a lovely handwritten name tag. The owner recommended a few dishes and all food was superb, especially the cheese skewer, the pork skewer, and the winter-only special of beef hot pot. Including 2 drinks, we (party of 2) left very satisfied and our bellies full for around 5000 yen, which was superb value for money. At the end, they also gave us handwritten warm packs for us to keep warm. Definitely make a reservation a day in advance.

Great place with some really tasty food. Service was perfect (surprised me) and more than happy to talk to you. Best thing though is the cutest coasters.
Excellent food. Everything tastes great. Very friendly cozy atmosphere. Try to put a reservation prior to your visit. It's a small place with only around 5-6 compartmentalized rooms. Our family ordered so many dishes and the kids still wanted more. At departure, the chef and manager of the restaurant gave each of us a cute personalized hand drawn heat pack. That was such a nice gesture in the freezing winter. Most memorable dining experience in Asahikawa.
Fantastic staff and food! English menu available and the staff is very friendly, a d willing to speak English if you are not able. Recommend the okonomiyaki and the fried skewers. Great drink menu as well! Definitely going back. Reservations highly recommended.

Long wait. 10 mins to be seated and another 30 mins to be served. Food was good, but not worth the long wait...
The chef and his staff are very nice and the food is delicous and affordable.
Lovely traditional Japanese bar. A bit rough and ready at first appearance but great food, great service. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have done more to make UA feel welcome. Would definitely go back.
