Small, but lots to do for children. Indoor area has helicopter that people can sit in, helicopter simulator, motorcycle, various screens, short 3D movie theater, activity room (coloring and books), outside has tanks, picnic area, vending machines (drinks, hot food, ice cream). Kids can use camo jackets for an hour while on site. There are boots, packs, vests, and other gear you can try on for fun. We came on a Sunday, but it wasn’t crowded at all. We waited 5 mins for simulator ride (110cm and over only).

Very cool set up by the JGSDF Eastern Army. Looking forward to going back to Camp Asaka for YS.
The JGSDF (Japan Ground Self-Defense Force) Public Information Center hosts helicopters, tanks, missiles, and other military equipment. To get a feel of what it's like to be a member of the JGSDF, try one of the simulations of piloting a tank or helicopter. You can even try on camouflage uniforms at the clothing exhibit and pose for photos.
Very informative. My kids and I found it a really interesting place to visit. The souvenir shop is small but full of interesting souvenirs.
Great place with nice exhibits. There is a lot of information about the JGSDF and its outstanding soldiers and equipment.
Excellent display of army vehicles! With toys for kids. Very amicable staff. Ask for the badges!
A must visit for military fans. Japan ground defence force. A nice presentation of tanks, military equipment, and history.
Best place to see real one ‘Tank’, It’s hard to see it closely
