I stayed at Uppermoor in the Farmhouse and Annexe with 16 of my friends where we celebrated a hen weekend. It was an excellent place to stay- kitchen really well equipped with everything we needed. It was covid-safe with clear guidelines to be followed (e.g. putting bedding into labelled bags before we left) and the owner, Jan, was very reassuring throughout the planning process. Special thanks to Jan also for allowing us to move our weekend from July to September this year amidst the pandemic, at no extra cost. The house was large enough for us to all do some yoga one morning, and we had a fab party where there was space for a live singer. The bedrooms were all a great size with en suites, and the bedding itself was super soft and comfortable. Loved using the Aga as well as the second oven- very handy for catering for large numbers. The scenery is incredible- only sheep for neighbours and miles of green fields. Nearby Parwich had a lovely pub. The Sycamore, that did a tasty Sunday lunch. Overall, a weekend we will all fondly remember. Thank you Jan! I hope to return one day! Tip: the farm is on Google maps so it's easier to find it that way than just the postcode alone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. From the word go Jan was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. She helped us find a way to make our celebration possible whilst adhering to COVID guidelines, even providing us with extra accommodation to allow for ample space. She has been on hand every step of the way to answer questions and make us feel fully looked after. We were greeted by the lovely housekeeper Val who made us feel incredibly welcome and well informed. We stayed in the Lighthouse Barn with the addition of the Coach House both venues are stunning both inside and out. The large patio area outside the Lighthouse Barn provides beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the large grassed area is perfect for games. Inside all bedrooms are immaculate, with very comfortable beds and lovely en suites. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with plenty of storage space. The living area in the Lighthouse Barn is huge and absolutely stunning. It provides ample space for everyone and was perfect for all the activities we had planned. Nobody could believe that all that space was just for us! This venue was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything that was put in place to make our celebration possible. I cannot wait to return!
A gorgeous setting for a Wellness Weekend! Upper moor Farm, in the beautiful snow, was the perfect setting for our Women's Wellness Weekend. Luxurious rooms, cosy living areas and the perfect surroundings to exercise and hike! Jan was extremely accommodation and I highly recommend the farm!
Amazing property and relaxing stay in the Peak District We had the most fabulous stay in this property with our extended family and lots of children. The house is beautifully positioned to enjoy some fabulous views. It is clean, stylish and well stocked with equipment to enjoy cooking and relaxing. We enjoyed eating on the terrace every night and we also had a superb meal in Parwich Village at The Sycamore pub. The children had a wonderful time roaming in the fields and den building in the woods. Jan was great at communicating which made everything so much easier. We highly recommend Uppermoor Farm.
We had a great family get together back in September, great location for our three families to get together. Accommodation was fantastic for all of us and the caterer that we had on the Saturday evening was great. Pub in the nearby village did a fantastic Sunday lunch
