Very good breakfast all day, good selection of other items on the menu. Fast service and very reasonable prices. Waffles are very good and not as puffy as other restaurants but still very tasty. Great place for breakfast or lunch. My family and I have been eating here for years and will continue to as long as their doors are open. Always good food and friendly service. Along with breakfast they also serve meats and vegetables, sandwiches and salads. Stop on in. You won't be disappointed! This is a locals spot with a breakfast like you would expect at home. Ask for country ham and yes... you get good ol' home style country ham. The service is fast and prices are reasonable. If that's not enough, the parking lot is always full. Everything was perfect, no complaints at all. Haven't been there in awhile but we will definitely be going back again and again. Loved the breakfast!

The Golden Waffle, an Asheboro institution ! Been eating here my whole life, never a bad meal or a bad experience. The restaurant stays busy, so come early and get a good seat. Best breakfast, hands down best grits, eggs, and crispy hashbrowns. The dinner choices are excellent also, just can't go wrong with anything you order here. We eat here regularly and love the food and service. Thanks to the staff of the Golden Waffle, you guys are awesome !! 1st time visit to Golden Waffle, 10am on a Thursday morning and only 2 spots to sit, place is small and busy. We both ordered the #1 special, it includes tea or coffee. So sad that they only serve whipped spread rather than butter. Also no chicken and waffles on the menu. Both steaks came out well done, but still tasted good. Eggs cooked perfect. You only have a choice of white or wheat toast or a biscuit, but for such a small place it makes sense.

If you love country ham, like I love country ham... Asheboro Golden Waffle does it right !!! Not a piece of ham, but a 'PIECE OF HAM' compared to any other breakfast place I've been to, offering country ham,... none come close. Like the waitress said, \We ain't bashful about our portions.
