Read the fine print. There’s a “grass waiver.” They dropped off my pod on grass in the summertime, but they have been unable to pick it up in the wintertime because ground is muddy. Guess who has to keep paying for the storage in the meantime? (I did call and get a discount on the extra month I’m stuck paying for). Drivers have been super nice.

Very efficient and useful way to move. All contacts were highly professional and well trained. Just remember to schedule the final pickup of the PODS container before it arrives at your destination. Otherwise, it may sit a while in your driveway! I didn’t know I was supposed to schedule that last pickup, but they still got it in about 7 days. Overall, a very good moving experience!
PODS refused to deliver the loaded containers to our new home because the driveway was \too steep\, despite the fact that there was plenty of flat area at the top of the driveway for parking and unloading. We ended up having to rent a truck and make multiple 80 mile round trips to unload our furniture, load it in a truck and then unload again at the new house. Customer Service would not put us in contact with anyone local to help work out the issues. Any option is a better option than moving with PODS.
This company is horrible. Our neighbors had a POD picked up and they ran over our mailbox. The driver went to tell our renter he did it and gave him the information to call and speak to someone about fixing it. Well they lady took forever between contacts to get back. At first she told my husband they didn't have a driver by that name. Then end the end said that their driver was found not negligent. How is running over someone's property not negligent? It was a full brick mailbox not a regular one. So a little harder to knock over. Don't expect them to make something right if they damage your property.
Driver caused 2500 of damage to our garage on June 24, I filed a claim that day. We had estimates sent in by July 24 to the individual handling my claim ... claim was closed without telling me and left to pay for the repair and the company is refusing to help. Apparently I can only communicate with my claim representative but the individual doesn’t respond to email or phone calls .... just scheduled my pod to be delivered next week and cancelling service. Horrible experience and customer service. Use a local small business owner that has storage units.
