I have never dealt with a worse company in my life, in a new built house of there's thats basically flooding itself every day it rains in three directions, we reported all of these issues within a few days of moving in along with over 20 problems in the following month, two of which caused injury. After 2 and a half years of fighting this company to rectify anything, we have had the home insurance assessor in (confirmed its all building defects) he has confirmed the loft is a complete loss, riddled with black mould that is now seeping through both bedroom ceilings. The front door has written off the hallway flooring twice, the back door has now taken out the lounge carpet, this assessor pointed out what we had been saying the whole way along, the back door and front door are not fitted correctly and as such water is able to come in underneath them. The whole way along we have been asking for the LABC warrenty and nothing has ever been provided. We are now taking this report and every email to the LABC as we should not be living in a 3 year old house with such major problems. Given they know there is an adult in the home with severe respiratory issues this is just not safe.

Fantastic company! So pleased with our new build home, the quality is perfect. We were a bit sceptical about buying a new build because they get a lot of bad press; however, Ashford Homes is in another league. They really have thought of everything in the design of their homes. Communication was great, they kept us updated all the way through our build and nothing was too much for them. They were so quick to get back to us if we had any questions. We've now been in our home for six months and are so happy. Will definitely purchase from them again in the future. Thanks again for everything Ashford Homes :)
These guys are THE BEST. They take pride in what they do. The finishes are fantastic and the after care service is second to none. Having lived in an Ashford Home for over a year and a half now, I can positively say that I'm so pleased that I chose to buy from Ashford. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
Bought a property from this firm. Home is well specified but the build quality is shocking. Avoid at all costs.
Stay clear of their apartments! Totally inadequate sound proofing - speakers in the ceiling mean that you will think the neighbours are having a house party below you everyday! The wood flooring means you'll hear them walking around which is quite loud and closing doors makes you think they're slamming them all the time. We even spoke to the owner of the company and he was really arrogant about the whole thing, he didn't seem to care at all. Lots of other problems as well such as the ventilation bringing in constant cold air and smells of pubs and bonfires (not to mention insects), Baxi boilers leaking after 10 months and heating with a mind of its own resetting to maximum every few hours. There are lots of other smaller issues but I'd be here all day. It was brand new when we moved in and I was surprised at how some things didn't work when a simple checklist when finished would flag them up. Anyone could have found the issues - simple things like the door release button not working on the intercom for downstairs, so instead you would need to walk down to let someone in. Our landline had to be in the cupboard even though there was a phone socket in the living room. BT came and they were surprised at how they had set it up. I couldn't even have the internet router in the lounge where I needed it most for a better signal. You will think the place is beautiful but it will annoy and frustrate you everyday and inevitably make you move out way before you planned to. I can't put in to words how frustrating the ceiling speakers were, we would have numerous conversations with neighbours complaining that it was too loud, when it was actually pretty quiet in their apartment.
