Stunning views of Mt. Rainier from the parking area itself. Great photo taking opportunity! This spot will be perfect for elders or other people who cannot hike much. Very rewarding views for almost no effort.

Glacier has retreated so much its snout is barely visible high up in the valley. In mid 1950s it was at the bottom of the photo and below the overlooks on the trail. Moraines are impressive though.
Beautiful views of Mt.Rainier, glaciers, waterfalls and wildflowers too. Spotted a Bear too.
Great snowshoeing path in the winter, one of the only ones in the area with clear posts marking the way. When the snow is very deep, going off path leads to great spots with easy directions back - just follow your prints! The route is a good length, allowing for a nice trip in the snow. Bring necessary supplies for snow safety, including sunglasses!
The easiest trail around paradise area, great for seeing wild flowers. This coming weekend will be the best time to see wild flowers in paradise for this year. Photos were taken on 7/27
