Great ceramics art shop, very kind artists. Love the original art pieces you can buy there. We try to visit this place each time when we are in Italy and bring home some of the art from this shop back home. Definitely if you are in area it is worth to come by and visit. If you are interested or fancy to have something completely original piece you also can make a custom orders with artist’s suggestions.

We entered a world of craftsmanship, inspiring visit with the highlight of meeting Walter and his father two soul of kindness, islander hospitality. The ceramic objects are each unique art pieces, each with its own soul and an history. We spent over an hour for a most pleasant visit and ended up buying a selection of pieces that were soon after shipped to our address in holland. Worth a drive to the atelier in the outskirts of Cagliari or order on line. Hope to come back soon again !
This is the place to go if you are around. Unique pieces in a limited production. Extremely kind artist introducing his art. Absolutely loved this place and different from the usual things you can find in other shops. Possibility to pay in cash or with card it was another positive point!

Quando passerete da Assemini dovete assolutamente entrare nel laboratorio di ceramica di Walter Usai in via Carmine. Al suo interno troverete Walter al tornio, supportato da suo papà Elvio, intento a dare vita alle sue meravigliose creazioni nel rispetto della antica tradizione ma con l occhio rivolto all innovazione. Per la loro gentilezza e professionalità meritano ben più di 5 stelle.
Un luogo dove la passione trasforma l'artigianato in arte. La tradizione, la conoscenza e la grande esperienza fanno parte del bagaglio culturale di Walter e un gusto cromatico che non può lasciare indifferenti. Immancabile una visita al laboratorio, un open space dove potrete ammirare tante loro creazioni ed esserne ispirati.
