Lobster is the star dish and what gives this place fame in northern Spain. The restaurant sits in a hotel right in front of one of the best beaches in The Santander region. The restaurant has its own underground aquarium with water fed directly from the sea and where lobsters are kept fresh. You can request a tour. Food is good but just short of a 5 rating. Service was very good and fast. Price is within range but lobster in Europe is expensive at 80/kg. The best though is probably the views. Both inside the restaurant and in the outdoor sitting area. On busy weekend days reservations are very much recommended.

This restaurant does not deserve the ratings it gets! It offers nothing special besides the view. Their menu is the same as every other restaurant in Cantabria. We ordered the chuleton which came to the table cold, the prawns were over cooked. The atmosphere is stiff and boring. We would not go there again or recommend it.
Terrible service, waited ages for them to clear dirty plates from previous customer and eventually had to ask. Had to again ask to order. Food was bad. Worst chips ever. Most bizarre dish of chips, cured meat, egg with grated frozen pate on top. Tomato salad average. Squid poor. View amazing hence 2 stars. Worst meal we had the whole time we were in the area. Avoid. The view isn’t worth it.
Great views, delicious food and really nice staff. Maybe a bit pricey.
A classic restaurant for fresh fish and seafood in Isla.
