30min walk from the beach and Atami station. If you stayed in a hotel in Atami the entrance fee is only 100yen and they give you a complimentary cup of amazake. There was a yo-yo performer so that was an interesting experience! So many different kinds of plums and flowers
Currently not a lot of plum and couldn’t see the waterfall but overall it’s very beautiful. Maybe towards March, it would be prettier.
Beautiful garden but too late for this year 21/2/2020
I went there for red leaves on 9 Dec 2019. A day after night illumination festival, no entrance fee was required. But the red leaves were still looks amazing. It was not just red, it was colourful with a spectrum of red, yellow, green, brown, black ... Worth visiting!
