The food was delicious and the staff was kind and welcoming. Even though we arrived as they were closing, they sat us and upgraded the cut of our fish for free. It's close to the station, so it's a great spot to stop if you have a bit of time before taking the bullet train.

One of the greatest experiences I had in Izu. Very kind and nice people. Great taste, fresh ingredients with a reasonable price. Although the working time was already over, they welcomed us, and kept the restaurant open just for us. Furthermore, although they ran out of some ingredients for making what we ordered, they upgraded our meals to more expensive ones for free instead of rejecting the order. I would definitely re-visit.
After 3 days travelling around enjoying Izu, we closed it out with a visit to Omaze before catching the bullet train. Everyone in the group agreed this was the best meal of our trip. The staff was also very friendly and accomodating, even delaying their plans to close when we first entered. Ate the #1 popular item 生しらすまぜ丼(nama-shirazu-maze-don) and would recommend it to those who like raw shirasu. The maguro-don (tuna) may be a safer choice for those who aren't sure.
The pictures look quite standard. But what's surprisingly delicious is the rice. It's not boring white rice, but a mix with nori (seaweed), gari (pickled sushi ginger), dried gourd, and some other goodness. Probably some of the tastiest rice I've had in Japan, and it complements the seafood really well.
ランチどきに伺いました。 タイミングよく5分程度待って入れました。 数量限定のマグロ丼(上)を注文しました！ 価格は1500円税(お味噌汁付き) すごくおいしかったです。 またご飯が特別なものだったので魅力です！ お味噌汁(あら汁)もおいしかったです！ 価格帯も良かったのでまた利用したいです。
嫁とお昼に伺いました。 オリジナルばらちらしとカマ焼き、静岡産ビールを頂きました。 お店で謳ってる通り、シャリに丁寧に味付けがされており優しくお刺身を包み込む味がとても心地よかったです。 あら汁はきっちりお魚の出汁が、カマ焼きは白身の旨味がしっかりと。大変満足で、他の方に勧める事ができるお店でした。
酢飯に干瓢、海苔、ガリが細かく刻んで混ざっているのが最高です。マグロ丼は上がオススメ、お店の方も感じ良い！
この味をこの値段で食べれるのは凄い。 丼を頼むとおかわり無料の味噌汁が絶品です。 ご主人も気さくな方で、大トロをサービスして頂きました。
