We stopped here while passing through Alabama. Our experience here was very good. We had the fish & shrimp dinner with crab claws & egg rolls for appetizers. All of the food was prepared to our taste. The service with Tammie was very good. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with our dinner. COVID precautions were taken during our visit. Our meal was very reasonably priced. This is a hidden gem in Athens, AL.

Totally awesome place to eat! Everything was piping hot and delicious! Nice sized portions! The fries are dang amazing! They have perfect seasoning and crunch! Restaurant was super clean! They follow rules on social distancing and waitresses wear masks! They are very nice and are attentive! Tea gets refilled when you want or need it. I was very pleased and amazed how delicious their food was. It looks small from outside, but very spacious inside. The atmosphere is great. You can dress up or just be casual. Its very nice to bring someone on a date too! Prices are reasonable and comparable too. I thought I had found my favorite seafood place till I ate here today. Now this is my favorite! If you are in Athens AL, you need to stop in and try their amazing food!
This is mine and my husband’s favorite place to eat, only 10 mins down the road!! The food is great, our waitress is really great, and it is just overall a very good experience. We always feel satisfied after our meals. Athens needed a place like this!
I had a wonderful time at D & L Seafood. The food was hot, looked appealing and delicious. I ordered the grilled blackened salmon. It was superb. They even had a military discount!
The food was fresh and the service was fast and amazing. For me seafood is either fantastic or horrible, there isn't much middle ground. This was fantastic! The calamari was crisp and not chewy at all. We will be back many, many times! This is a much needed addition to Athens!
Three for food, two for service. SLOW! When it takes 45 minutes to get your entrees something dysfunctional happened. Shrimp and grits- blah. Plain, flavorless ground corn, over cooked shrimp, thin sauce with a couple red/green soft pepper pieces. Green onion, no. Shrimp and scallops scored slightly better. When the plate hit the table the scallops were perfect. Five minutes later, the carry over heat turned them rubbery. A couple still had the foot attached. Shrimp same as already described. Loaded baked potato- better have tartar sauce nearby to lube it up. Everything tastes good with cocktail sauce. Buh-bye.
We love this place. Everyone is so very nice. I recommend it to everyone.
