Absolutely no communication. I had cancer in 2019 The experience was wonderful with with DrSplichal, Chuck Davis and Raven. Unfortunately Dr. Shepherd was on call when my husband was in the hospital. She immediately started making appointments for him and we had no contac. after that he was scheduled for five chemotherapy’s only got four,Clearly I didn’t do the right thing I should have known the one time I met Dr. Shepherd neither of us thought she had any care or concern and definitely no communication. I would use you UCBC for everything again, I hope I don’t have to. I should have switched oncologists right away I thought I would hurt her feelings clearly she has none. the radiation team at UC BC radiation at oncology is the best you will find anywhere.

I will always be grateful to Dr Shepherd for saving my daughter’s life. She’s brilliant. She is a no-nonsense kind of doctor which is exactly what we valued in an oncologist. Don’t let her serious nature fool you - as we got to know her we saw her very caring side and was impressed how much she asked about and remembered personal aspects of my daughter’s life. I feel very blessed that she is my daughter’s oncologist.

This Dr.Shepherd is extremely abrasive and needs to learn some manners. I was very nice to her, she was very rude to me. I don't know how well she knows her job, but for everyone's sake, I hope she knows it.

Terrible communication. Our first oncology visit with Dr. Shepard, she told us she didnt even know if we had cancer since she hadnt received the biopsy results yet. Then why didnt you reschedule the appointment? I tracked down the results for her since she never called us back with an update. Then she wouldnt go over the results with us on the phone, passed us off to a nurse that refused to read us the results either. Emory has been amazing- go there instead of wasting your loved ones time with Dr. Shepard

Smart as a whip---she saved my life. I don't much care about "bedside manner" as long as the doctor knows what she/he is doing, and Cynthia Shepherd knows what she is doing.

I don't normally write reviews, but when I looked up Dr. Shepard to get her phone number online, I came across these terrible reviews, and felt compelled to write a true review. Dr Shepard was nothing but amazing to my family and I during one of the hardest times in our lives thus far. Her staff was great as well. A cancer diagnosis and treatment is an emotional time and we all deal with things differently, but we must remember that they deal with this everyday, and they are going to do what is best for us as patients. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this office.

I look forward to my visits with Dr. Shepard. I am rarely kept waiting long, which is a lot more than I can say for most doctors. She explains everything thouroughly. The staff here is always busy and seem a bit abupt, maybe, but they have always been efficient. I have never experienced rudeness from any staff member here.

DOCTOR DEATH - DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! The "tech/nurse" with all the tattoos yelled at my dying sister and she WILL yell at you too. I didn't believe it myself so I went with my sister to her next visit. My sister apologized to the "tech / nurse" for making her so mad when she saw her. She told my sister she wasn't mad at her she was mad at Dr. Shepherd. So she yelled at a dying person?? I asked that Dr. Shepherd call me and she never did. The office staff there is extremely rude. My sister begged me not to say anything because there aren't a lot of cancer doctors in that area. My sister has now passed away so I am able to let everyone know. Dr. Shepherd does NOT care about her patients. They just run patients through the practice until they die. Patients need to be told about all treatments not just what their insurance covers. The level of care is so minimal. Do your research and if you go here now and get treated poorly leave while you're still ahead. It will not get any better! I've seen and heard it happen with several patients. I met a lady in Walmart in Cleveland and she said the same thing. The UCBC need to look into this "doctor"!
