After reading the reviews of this urgent care on google, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But, after yesterday I can say I had a very good experience. Everyone was super nice. I was helped by Ms.Heather and Dr. Sheila and both of them were very nice and patient with me with how much pain I was in and of my crying. They helped me pretty quickly and did my x-rays in a good time as well. Dr.Sheila even helped me find a liquid medicine since I don’t know how to swallow pills. Very good experience given the circumstances.

Super friendly greeter at front desk noticed that I looked a little bit lost. She greeted me with a bright smile and directed me to where I needed to go. As I left, she gave me another smile and wished me a good day. I wish I had gotten her name, but she was a sweet elderly lady.

Giving one star because google requires it . Holzer’s mission statement should be “ quantity over quality” If they can’t make a dime off of you , they won’t help you in any way. I’ve had many issues with holzer but my most recent involves my child . I requested a referral to be sent to children’s hospital. After two months of calling and calling ( both facilities) I find that the referral was never sent . Holzer likes to keep things in house ( again, more money in their pocket) rather than sending patients to another facility. Even though they are not equipped to treat and or diagnose the patients needs. They put the well being of their patients behind the money they can make off of them. You wait at least an hour for your appointment because management requires the doctors to double book patients , or triple book them , again QUANTITY OVER QUALITY . My advice is to find a health care provider that actually cares about their patients and their well being . Rather than coming to holzer where you are seen as a dollar sign and not a person. I will say that some doctors that work here are excellent , as well as some employees . They Just do what they are told to do by management. Call center employees are a joke . Very rude , refuse to help with anything that may cause them to actually do something .

The problem in my experience is the receptionists. Sometimes you can get a good one, but that’s not the norm. They’re usually fairly rude, and they make it impossible to even talk to a nurse when you need it. My doctor there is really wonderful, but it’s very hard to get in touch with her because of reception. I know when I call, that my doctor never knows I tried to contact her and it’s very frustrating and causes you to have to go to a minute clinic and deal with that crapshoot.
