It's been a while since I have done a review for Pawtropolis, and it is way overdue! This business is so amazing! The care your pets get is top notch! I can't tell you how many times we have been here over the years..... but each time we are treated with kindness and patience no matter what is going on in the world. The respect these employees have for their jobs, each other, and the public shows with every visit. I know my fur babies are in the safest environment and will get the best treatment while under care at Pawtropolis. We use Alison as our groomer, and I couldn't be more pleased. Our pups are 12 years old now, and she has been grooming them for most of their lives. I just cannot say enough positive things about both Pawtropolis locations in Athens. Please, if you are looking for dog training, grooming, daycare, boarding, etc....... make sure you give them a chance! You will not be disappointed!

Banned from daycare after nearly 2 years and literally thousands of dollars spent at this business, including starting in the puppy program at an early age. We have shown nothing but loyalty and responsibility as pet owners including ongoing training with a well known trainer. We purchased months of daycare at a time and utilized the grooming facilities. Last week we had a “great day” today we got a call that our lab will not be allowed in daycare anymore. What a waste of time and money utilizing a local business that obviously does not take the time to talk to the customer and keep us informed. In addition we continued to use this business after our lab consumed a small tennis ball on the premises. Fortunately it came up without surgical intervention. We turned in the ball to the staff who then banned him from playing with balls rather than acknowledging their lack of supervision and opportunity to improve their processes. Good luck in entrusting your family pet to this business. In response to the owner and my last word on this. If your manager had taken the time to review the incidents with us perhaps I would be more convinced that this was anything more than an inattentive staff not watching dogs for reactivity. We have been in training for this and have seen marked improvement in many social situations. He responds immediately to verbal commands. Below is a picture of the “savage” beast
I would love to give Pawtropolis a 5 star review but I sadly cannot. Their people are so friendly and facilities seem so nice, we even recently completed our 7 week puppy training program on the Westside location but unfortunately our dog has gotten sick not once but twice. The first time our dog went to daycare was December 14, 2020... a few days later he came down with an upper respiratory infection that required a vet visit and medication. I called to let them know about our dogs status and gave them a pass and totally understood things happen. Our dog recently stayed for daycare and now has kennel cough only a few days later. Another vet bill. Our dog is fully vaccinated, up to date on shots, and hasn’t visited any other facility or place recently other than Pawtropolis. Of course we cannot 100% say this is from Pawtropolis but the timing is way way to coincidental.

Tango, black lab 8 months loves going to Pawtropolis! The concierge overnight is perfect for playful pups that like humans and other dogs! Tango loves to play with people and dogs, so it's perfect! The special attention is great! My older little dog likes it too, she's just content in the apartments.
