Was a great place and a 5* worthy rating as Porterfield Tire. Rating drops to a 1* rating at best after selling out to Tire Discounters. I will no longer use this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone. It's all about how much of your money they can pocket now. Service, quality, and customer satisfaction now comes 2nd, not with me it won't. As I'll take my tire needs elsewhere from now on. Why waste more of my time? There's no need to email you, you won't change my mind.

Porterfield always provides a level of service that I have failed to receive from nearly all other shops. They are one of two shops that I trust to be honest every time, and help me find the best deals possible! I recently just had some front end work done on my truck, and they did a phenomenal job of getting it done and having me back on the road, riding like it’s fresh off of the lot! I have brought them my last 3 cars for work, tires, and rims!
Now that I have a little more time, I can explain. I took off work today to get my car serviced. I did not start at Porterfield (I'm going to keep calling it that because it's been that for A LOT of years) and I'm not mad at the original place. The original place did their job and said I needed tires and an alignment. They quoted me a price but I was confident that Porterfield could beat the price. They have in the past. I called and sure enough. They were about 30% cheaper. I'm not saying they can beat everybody but they definitely deserve a call. They also had an available appointment around the time frame I needed. I arrived about 30 min early. The girl that checked me in was really nice and seemed to know her stuff. She explained all the new features that the new company offers IN WRITING. I was pleasantly surprised by all the extras. I will continue to offer them a shot when I'm in need of tires and such. We all know that nothing is perfect and this visit was not perfect. The wait time was longer than I would have liked BUT I'm used to longer wait times with past visits to Porterfield. I'm sure the new company is still working out the kinks and needs a little time to completely transition. Overall, I'm pleased with the visit and will come back.
I had to get my Tires changed, and a couple of my friends suggested Porterfield. I was assisted by Troy and it was an amazing experience. The guys out there were pretty friendly and gave me a good deal on the tires. A senior manager named Dave even showed me around the garage and demonstrated the entire process. It was super cool of him. I'd definitely recommend this place. The rates are pretty decent and the customer experience is great.
I came in really unsure of what I wanted. Mike was awesome! He was patient with me as I tried to find a look that I liked. He went over and above, answering my questions on his days off, following up with me, explaining things clearly and once I made a final decision keeping me up to date. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cost of the rims was spot on to what I would have paid had I ordered them online myself. I learned a lot about different tire styles for different terrains, lug styles and off sets. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PLACE! Thank You Mike!!!!!!
