We made the leap to South East Bank a year ago and I am so glad we did! Very professional, polite and patient. My wife and I enjoy the convenience of both the Farragut and Athens branch locations. I opened up a free checking account and then they changed it to a paper fee. Which is 3 dollars which is fine. But I set up the app on my phone and now I'm still getting the 3 dollar fee. And I have called customer service and they act like they are above u. If I could give them zero stars I would. I'm moving banks and everybody I know is going to know how they done me. And when there going to change stuff they should sent out an email if it affects u. U get told one thing at the bank and another on the phone. I liked this bank until they started updating everything. I take back my one star and give them zero.

The worst customer service at the drive thru. The girl at the drive thru on April 1st 2919 is the most hateful rude person I have encountered in a long time. It's not what she said but how she said it. They aren't even a local owned bank anymore, their owned by a large bank in knoxville. The branch in Decatur is ok but the one in Athens sucks!!
