Lived here 3 years and have always had my maintenance requests fixed super fast. Really close to campus with option to get on a UGA bus. I never need to go back to campus because I do all my studying at the student center. I am staying a 4th year!

My daughter just moved in this weekend. Terribly disappointed! The apartment was completely filthy. Door coming off the hinges, a lot of electrical outlets inop. Paint all over the carpet, Floors, light fixtures and countertops. No blinds on some windows. 2 inches of dust on ceiling fans and baseboards. Urine all over bathroom cabinets and floors. Absolutely no cleaning took places in this apartment until we got there so that tells me no walk through was done prior to move in day. Very upset!
Love the distance from campus, and the size of our apartments. Having our own bedrooms and bathrooms is also a huge perk. Parking can be tough, but that's to be expected anywhere you'd live that's walkable distance from campus. The new bathrooms look great, but the water pressure was a step down. Overall though, we've had a great experience living here!
The apartments themselves are fine, and the location is great, however I did not renew my lease because the staff was not helpful and during the move out process, they did not give good instructions and then stuck us with random fees for things we did not know we needed to do so we didn't get our deposit back. They try to make money off of you in any way possible, and also, they promised a student center would be built shortly after we moved in, and it was not ready until after we moved out.
Leasing the room rather than the entire apartment reduces financial exposure however students and their parents should think twice about Whistlebury. They can put a stranger in a room in your unit and have no concern for the safety. Management seems to think of safety and harassment by people they put in your unit as \lifestyle choices\ while they cash the checks. Glow in the dark mold that was reported to the management is also a feature of this place.
