I’m probably on the younger side for most of Dr. Burse’s patients. He has great bedside manner and really cares about my concerns. I have had a few other medical concerns in the past few years and he has always made himself available to speak with my other docs/surgeons concerning treatment options to keep my GI healthy throughout the procedures. He’s personable and down to earth when it comes to real life issues and does not make every concern a major clinical issue.

I love Dr. Luther Burse I am his patient he has a excellent Doctor Patient Manner I have been a patient since 2002. it is 2019 and I still feel the same about Dr Burse as I did when I met him in 2002 when he was at Baptist Medical Center. He is Excellent I would rate him 10 Stars and he always have a great sense of humor makes me laugh I'm growing older now late 60's he has addressed all my issues and problems and there was a period I did not see him because he cured my issues when I returned his Professional Manners and kind personality and this Doctor smile. I brought my daughter to meet him and he is a very kind warm hearted guy and yes he treat your issues and I would not change doctors Dr Burse is the very best I have referred many people to Dr Burse because he is the very very best he never change we are just getting older. If I am also so proud of Dr. Burse and If he ran for President Iw ill certainly put signs out to support him all over my neighborhood I have been his patient from Baptist to Emory and 2 thumbs up for Dr Burse.. If you want a Doctor who listen to you look at you in your eyes and have his hearing ears on check him out.
My boyfriend saw DR Burse at Oakhurst Medical Center where the Doctor goes 1 Tuesday a month. He wrote a prescription for a drug my boyfriend needs to cure his hepatitis C. Well the drug cost 30,000 dollars which we don't have. We contacted the drug company for financial assistance . We printed the forms faxed them dozens of times to his office but he wont fill them out and fax them to the drug company so treatment can start. Why prescribe something you know we cant afford and why wont he help get assistance. This Doctor obviously does not care about patients with out insurance and who need financial help. Why be a Doctor if your not gonna do everything you can to help patients get better. All we need is paper work filled out . I give him no stars but in order to post this I had to give him 1
ZERO STARS!!! This dude and his staff are total crooks when it comes to his own cancellation policy. It stated that in order to not be charged 25.00 no show fee, to cancel 24 hours before your appointment. I went once and made a return appointment but my car broke down TWO DAYS before the next appointment, so I immediately called his office to cancel and avoid the 25.00 no show fee. I was charged anyhow. When I got the bill I refused to pay it because I had cancelled two days prior. It was sent to collections. I explained the situation and they told me don't worry, it will be taken care of. It was not. Due to the incompetent thief @ working there, I was charged anyhow. If you do choose to go to this crook and have to cancel, make sure you do so before 24 hours, and get them to send you an email stating that you've cancelled. I had to give one star in order to post. Otherwise ZERO STARS!!!
This admin staff is very unprofessional with a nonchalant attitude when it comes to making billing errors. They turned an account over for collection that did not belong to my husband(patient).Upon contacting the office I was told to contact the collection agency, which I had done.The collection agency told me that the office needed to contact them since the office sent the account to them in the first place. Time is of the essence in a ca se like this as it can cause isues with your credit and can take forever to get cleared up. I think that Dr. Burse is doing himself a disservice by employing these kind of workers. I hope to convince my husband to see another Gastro. Unacceptable experience.
