After not playing the piano for decades, I began taking lessons again with Ruthanna five years ago. It is so much fun!! and challenging and satisfying. She is a highly skilled teacher with a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend her for children and adults.

My kids have been taking lessons with Ruthanna for years (since the each turned 5 years old and could read) and she's just amazing! She is so patient and thorough with her lessons, using the latest technology and incorporating theory and technique to make the lessons very well rounded. She also organizes recitals and performances regularly to boost the kids confidence in their abilities. I would recommend her very highly to anyone looking for piano lessons!
Our daughter is in her third year of lessons at Intown Piano. She has gained so much knowledge and has developed such a love of playing the piano. Ruthanna is not only an extremely talented pianist, but also a phenomenal teacher. Highly, highly recommend!
I have been a student at Intown Piano since I moved to Atlanta in February. I had a little previous experience on the piano but since I started taking lesson with Ruthanna my skills have skyrocketed! I just finished my first workbook and am now comfortable in numerous keys. It is so exciting to watch yourself progress over the months, and I can't believe I'm able to play some of the songs that are in our lesson plan. Ruthanna is amazing, she is such a wonderful and kind hearted person and she makes you feel so supported as a student, which makes you want to learn even more. Her setup is amazing and even during covid she has dual action cameras so you can follow the lesson seamlessly. I recommend Intown piano to people of any age or skill level. I cant wait to see where I am in another couple of months! Thanks Ruthanna!
Our 6-year old has been in lessons this year and we’ve had a great experience! Ruthanna’s teaching is full of variety and engages my son in a number of different ways. Most importantly, she has the perfect sort of encouragement for him—she enables him to feel successful and yet also challenged to do more. He leaves every lesson beaming!
