I would like to share our experiences with Jeffrey Bruce Baker, Design Director for JBB architect firm based in Atlanta. We have worked with Jeffrey for almost a decade now, and are very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Our first interaction with Jeffrey was almost a decade ago, when we decided to renovate our home near Emory. Jeffrey captured our vision and able to change the façade of our existing home, transforming into an almost a brand new home. We were drawn by his attention to details, and giving different ides, yet respecting how we wanted to transform the façade. The final outcome of home was just perfect. We were looking to purchase a home on Lullwater, incidentally that was designed by Jeffery in historic Druid Hill district. When we landed in his office during our due diligence, we learnt about Jeffrey experience with historic Druid Hill development. Unfortunately that particular lot did not work for us. Our search landed us at another large lot in historic Druid Hill district, where we decided to develop a family estate. So it was natural for us to reach out to him to develop site plan for this new site. Jeffrey transformed our vision on plan, and has continued to work with us as we have progressed in development plan, following historic guidelines, and evolving plans as per district requirements. We have been pleased with his designs, nuances to details and willing to make changes at the nick of the moment. Jeffrey is patient, professional and efficient. We look forward to continue to work with him and his team to develop plans and homes for us, our adult children and generations to come. Where can I begin? I have had the opportunity to know Jeffrey for over a year now. He is passionate and is a perfectionist about his work. In fact, he goes beyond being “just an architect” to being a design artist while taking into account a safe environment, sustainability, creativity, the clients’ pocketbook and more. In addition, he provides “big firm” services within his personal and caring studio from architectural design to construction services to interior and custom furnishings. Jeffrey is AMAZING. I had a very specific and unique build and after talking to several Architects, no one captured my thoughts and ideas like Jeffrey did. He listened to what I wanted and at the end of our meeting, she hand sketched my house with ALL my requests and then some right in front of me. I COULD NOT believe my eyes when I saw his drawings because it was everything I wanted but with so many more details that I had not thought of or didn't even know I wanted. It was simply amazing to see his pencil illustrate my thoughts/wants so clearly and quick. I knew no one other than Jeffrey would be taking my project on. After taking an inspirational trip together for our project around Europe, I fell even more with love with his personality and professionalism.

Highly recommend! We hired JBB to renovate our condo which is in a highrise and demands lots of approvals, permits, insurance requirements, etc. JBB took care of all the \behind the scenes\ work which involved lots of tedious meetings with the building. Most contractors would have probably not been readily available to handle such tasks, but JBB handled it all with very little involvement from us. Once the project was approved, we left for 10 days with no worries. We came back to a completely renovated home done exactly to our specifications. It was such a relief to not have to worry about a thing while we were away. They kept us updated on the work and sent pictures throughout the renovations. We still work with JBB for the finishing touches and they are always available and excited to contribute decorating ideas and meet us even though the heavy work has been finished. I was downsizing and Jeffrey helped me to decide which furniture, decor and art would work and what had served it’s purpose well but would not work in the new space. Jeffrey then did the interior design for my new place including selecting paint colors for the room, custom designing a headboard and upholstered bench, furniture placement and new custom bedding. Jeffrey’s portfolio speaks for itself. My personal experience was working with a talented designer who understood my needs and taste and was able to translate that into the perfect design. I gave a 5 star review and would recommend Jeffrey Bruce Baker design wholeheartedly.
