Juvenile diabetes research Foundation (JDRF) is considered the paramount organization fighting for improving the lives and finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetics. They have and continue to raise millions of dollars each year for research. The GA Chapter is one of the largest in the country and consistently goes above and beyond in supporting the Georgia community. Their staff is responsive, supportive, and caring.

As the premier organization devoted to all aspects of Type 1 Diabetes - management, finding a cure, and prevention - JDRF is the place to contact if you need any information or help with Type 1 Diabetes. They are an invaluable resource for anyone dealing with T1D, either for themself or for a loved one, from connecting with others in the same situation, to advocacy, to information about the latest in research. The Georgia chapter is staffed by motivated, passionate, hard-working, and super-friendly people, who will put you at ease right away and really work to help you.

This is a wonderful organization supporting research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes. They also advocate for policies that accelerate access to new treatment and offer a great support network here in Georgia for folks impacted by this disease. I've been a volunteer for JDRF for many years and the GA chapter staff is fantastic to work with and very driven. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who'd like to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes.
