I was headed to Desta Ethiopian and decided to stop in Mena, instead. It was a huge disappointment. Huge. They had no fish; the veggie plate was way overpriced at 13 for 4 scoops of veggies. The Gomen was dry; the green lentils were terrible. The injera was good. This place was not it. I won't be back.

Good food, but service needs improvement.
The owner at this restaurant is amazing. We stopped in to sample the food before we brought our Girl Scout Troop there. The food is very authentic, fresh and great quality. There's no way we could've eaten more than 1 huge plate. There were 2 of us, and we had enough food for 4 or 5 people. Would've given them 5 stars... but unfortunately it was hard to find them. They're located in the back of their grocery store, and there's no sign on the front of the restaurant. But besides all that, definitely seek them out for your next Ethiopian experience. We'll definitely be back.
