I went here based on the good reviews and also I had eaten here in the late 90s and the food was great back then. Today not so good very disappointed. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with all the topping minus tomato’s and I got 2 over fried chicken fingers on a bun with only lettuce and onions when I stated that I wanted all the topping. I also got a burger that was decent and a gyro that was absolutely horrible. It was way too salty and only had lettuce with sauce on top. Again I wanted all the toppings on that didn’t get it. I called back up to tell the guy that took our order and all he said was the grilled chicken sandwich they don’t do anymore. Even though on the menu it says grilled. I would have never ordered it and wasted money. I was so excited to visit this place because I also heard they had the best gyros and I hadn’t eaten there in 20 years. Boy was I wrong!! My order was messed and and I couldn’t eat the salty gyro. Only reason I even gave it 3 stars was because the guy at the register was very nice and made us laugh. Sadly won’t go back!!

Ok, this place has been #1 in Atlanta a few times. So I had to try it out having had more than my fair share of gyros. The salad was a 3 to 3.5. the gyro was 7 to 8 on a scale of 5. BEST GYRO I have eaten in the United States (possibly world). The gyro meat was premium meat not the regular run of the mill stuff. The tzatziki sauce was absolutely perfect with the meat. This was a perfect gyro. I would skip the salad and eat two gyros in the future! Great job to the staff at Nick's!!!

This was my first time as a patron; recommended by my husband. The food is good, but there wasn't a lot of meat on the gyro. Mostly lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. It's also a hole in the wall, so you will be ordering outside through a window. Again, the food is delicious.

Great gyros! Had been hunting for a spot since I moved away from my favorite (Alpha Gyro in Gainesville). Nick's is just as good! Or maybe Alpha is as good as Nick's, since they've been in business longer. Nick's does their pita just right, crispy on one side but still dense and chewy, with the perfect crisped edges on their meat. Huge portion, great price. Gyros are literally my favorite food and these are top-notch!

A good food place! Maybe doesn't look like it from outside but it sure is. Food is tasty, good size portion at reasonable price.
