Ren is amazing! I went to her to get a haircut fixed and it was such a good choice! Instead of a weird blunt cut as cross the bottom, she was able to give my hair a softer, more flowy look. The whole salon was brightly lit and really pretty! I will also say: Asian women out there? Don't let white people convince you to get layers. They don't know what they're talking about. Tbh Ren is the only white person I've trusted with my hair because she GETS it. As of 2019, unfortunately I have to amend my review. On October 18, 2018, I had an appointment at 4:30PM to get a trim. It seemed to go off without a hitch, but after several weeks I started noticing split ends. Here's the thing though: In my entire 28 years in existence, throughout having both long and short hair, I have never once had to deal with split ends. I actually had to google what they were because I was unfamiliar with that. I spent months worrying and trying to figure out what was going wrong or if my hair was getting weaker. In early January, I finally made an appointment at another salon - a korean salon up in Duluth called Pika Pika. The stylist took one look at my concerns and told me I was fine. In fact, my hair had been improperly cut with blunt scissors, which was why the ends were splitting. After she fixed Salon Modello's mistakes, I have not had any other issues other than the residual split ends as the shorter lengths grow out. I will not be returning to Salon Modello because it's just really too much hassle to deal with the fall out if they cut with blunt scissors again. :(

Its on the top 3 salons in Atlanta for GOOD reason! Owner and stylist, Aaron is a master at his craft. He has the ability that we all wish for in our hairstylists, that to be able to connect with the client on what they want. He cut my hair better than I even wanted and I am extremely picky about what I want. Its incredible when you find a stylist like this. Im writing this review and you will all want (as ypu should) to run there and have your hair done but Aaron is mine !!! I know he also educates and so I do believe everyone on staff is extremely talented.
I got a fresh cut and toner applied to my hair a few days ago by Sarah! She was fantastic, I have super short thick hair and was in desperate need of a lot of help! I had a job interview the nest day, we had a good discussion about what I was going for, she suggested a few things and I am so happy with the results! She successfully got my pom pom of short hair to lay in an attractive manner, thinned it out, shaped it nicely and applied gunmetal grey toner! THANKS SARAH!
