Absolutely disgusted in their customer service skills. Hired a truck the price was amazing, but was basically called I liar when asked if I had filled up with diesel I said yes and showed the receipt from a petrol station only 400 metres down the road. He stated I could have fit in another 2 litres I will never go back again.

Basic Rentals, Takanini is the best vehicle rental company I've used. When you factor in their daily free km and multi-day discount, they were the cheapest truck hire I found in Auckland. Pickup and dropoff was really easy and quick. The truck was clean, in great condition and ran super smooth. It was very easy to drive. The availability of extras was great, though I didn't need them. Would 100% recomend.
