hi David Reaid management. A while back, I had a proposition to put to David Reid Homes. i believe it may have been an excellent step up for David Reid. It involved a number of top of the class builds and as such I was no able to provide a specific address. The receptionist was lacking in all profesionalism, quite unplesant and told me that without an address she is not prepared to make a note of the situation, or to pass on a message. David Reid is advertising for customers in various areas of NZ - and someone answering the phone then decides off her own volition, and quite unplesantly to turn away a request to speak to management and therefore lose business for the company. This is unlikley to be the only time her manner has pushed customers elsewhere, I wonder if management even knows about the power this unprofessional person wields. All that advertising is wasted, customer lost. TIme of change of receptionist ? Response to the owners response. Thank you for suggsting contating you - through your office. I did have a proposition for you - probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for your company. Your receptionist was adamant that I can not speak to management, in spite of explainingg that it is a project, something you would want to hear about, and in spite of you advertising heavily, I dont know how many clients you have lost over this sort of unfreindly and uncomfortable exchange which is the first impression a prospetive client receives. . I did want to speak with you, but frankly, will not do so until you have a different receptionist with a vstly different attitude. We have large projects going and not being able to be in touch with you is a clear red flag - what if we had a probelem or needed to speak wtih you. Thank you for suggesting I call you THROUGH THE OFFICE - I am not prepared to go through that way again. I wish you well. Thanks.
