Over priced place... instant noodle dish for 20. Salmon dish with minimal pieces and sauce with off cuts that destined for the bin also 20. Sesame sauce noodle for 19 when i normally pay for 10 else where. HK milk tea that tasted bitter and sour, could have got something really decent to drink for 6 else where. Won't come back for sure. 2 stars for reasonable service but not for the food quality or pricing. Thanks

The portions are quite large and filling. The price is very reasonable. Service was good, had no complaints.
I had a fantastic experience here. If you have doubts about the 'authenticity' this is a genuine thing happening in Hong Kong. The staff certainly did their best to understand us and the server who was on in the beginning seemed very busy, or was waiting for a better English speaker to serve us instead (entirely understandable). They kindly accommodated the 5 of us appearing without a booking. This is not a formal dining experience so do not go in expecting such. I had the Bolognese on Rice with an Egg which was remarkable. My company had a Honey Pork chop on rice and a baked Tomato and something on rice (I cannot remember what said friend ordered). For something new (to my knowledge) in New Zealand, this is a wonderful thing to try, though do be prepared for some potential delays as a more fluent English speaker is likely clearing time to come and see you. Overall a wonderful place, my only advice would be perhaps some kind of communication to the customer that an English speaker is coming, as we initially interpreted this as slack/poor time management on the busy Chinese speaking server's end.

Salad was rotten and pork was under cooked. Staff made us feel very uncomfortable and we had to wait 10 mins between the 2 mains we ordered were delivered. But we did get a laugh about the fact they have pants hanging up as a curtain
