Our family had the pleasure of vacationing at the K Bar L in late June 2017. It was a spectacular three generation family trip where we all unplugged and enjoyed the beautiful wilderness and together time. It was magical to see my mom in her element riding horses alongside her grandchildren (ages 12 and 9). It was thrilling for us all to fish the beautiful river and watch our kids reel in trout after trout. (We had to tell them when we got home that fishing at the K Bar L is magical and they can't expect those results everywhere). A trip for those who cherish the wilderness and are willing to free themselves from phone and internet and live in the beauty of the moment. The Wallis family made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The staff was perfectly attentive, flexible, professional,and fun. I hope our paths will lead us there again soon!
I have been to the K-L for the last three summers. It is a fabulous, breathtakingly beautiful, magical place to stay. I hope to spend part of my summer there for the rest of my life. I love to fish, ride, hike and just soak up the beautiful Montana wilderness. It is wonderful to do that while lovely people are making sure I am having the perfect stay!
