Only Comedy Club in Augusta..the Jokers Comedy Club Laughing Out Loud in Augusta
I want to encourage people to support them as one of the few black owned comedy clubs in the nation. The wall of portraits of comedians was like looking at the who's who museum of comedians, so I felt like I was in good company. I like their limited food menu as it allows them to just focus on a few good trusties. I want to come back to try out their wings that I saw so many people order. Their ladies are so efficient at taking and bringing the orders. Just wish they'd lighten up a little more. It's a comedy club! Smile! The DJ that night could work on his transition skills. The comedians that were there were humble and not divos who wouldn't associate with the non-VP fans. Crowd was mostly civil and respectable except for one guest that decided to overtalk the 2nd comedian toward the end of his set. I look forward to trying some of their other events during the week for a grownups nite out.
Wonderful atmosphere, great staff, excellent entertainment!
The guy at the door took our money knowingly that they were closing very disappointed
