A perfect place with a tragic past. The view decks (one facing Baler beach front, and the other one facing Cemento Beach) provides breathtaking panoramic view of Baler's coastline. Very accessible and well developed. Good for stop-over, picnic or just simply relaxation.

A place built to commemorate those who survived and died the tsunami in 17th century. It is a 5 to 10 minutes walk up the stairs still worth as you would be able to see the view of sea from the top of the hill. Make sure you are ready to climb the stairs because it is exhausting.
If you will go here, it is better to know the history of the place so you will have better appreciation of the Ermita Hill. The view on top is beautiful because you can see the Sabang Beach and the town of Baler. There are resting places on all sides of the drop off, as well as souvenir shops. The climb to the cross is easy because there are stairs. Our guide gave us a pop quiz on how many steps of the stairs are there. The steps are quite big so be ready. Enjoy the place.
A place with a beautiful view of Baler. The picture represents the families who survived the tsunami that hit Baler some time ago. If you walk up the stairs you will find a gazebo where you can view the beautiful shores of Baler. A must visit! Note that walking up the stairs may be tiring for the elderly so better ride your car/tricycle to the view deck.
Historical hill, nice view of Baler beach front, with parking space. Entrance fee for the visit.
The view of the bay and the history that comes with the place are excellent. A highly recommended stop if you're touring around Aurora
Nice viewdeck to see the whole stretch of Sabang Beach and the backdrop of Sierra Madre. 15 pesos entrance per head.
The 200 steps upward Ermita Hill weakened our knees (talk about not having a leg days. lol), it’s perfect for cardio. They have few stalls for pasalubong. There were trees/plants I’ve never seen before and they’re all interesting. The view of the whole Sabang at the end of the grotto was amazing. There was still a trail upward the hill but we only managed to trek a couple meters then gave up. We weren’t equipped for a trek. I’d recommend to wear clothes fit for trekking if you wanna go further up the hill. :)
