Updated Nov 30 to 4*: Long waiting time, 40 min. It's good for any business to have many client's. But when that happens expanding to bigger facilities must be considered to continue to offer good and consistent service. Original comment 5*: I wanted to change where I do my blood tests, and go with LifeLabs. I like the free web access to Lab results they offer. Was very concerned to come to this facility because of the bad reviews, but was positively surprised with the place, clean, plenty of parking and the service was excellent. Didn't finish the test as I had a coffee in the morning so was not fasting. The lady at front desk was gentle and even gave the Urine sample cup so I come prepared the next time. Will update the review when blood test is done.

I have been there couple of times and I have to say all my visits went nice and smooth. Staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is good and clean. It may seem that there is a lack of available parking space once you enter the Kennedy st. Though there are more spaces available at the rear side of the building. The lab runs busy and overcrowded sometime, but staff manage the issues quite well.
Got there around 10:30am on a Tuesday. I had no appointment, and had to wait less than 10 min. They informed me that 2 of the bloodtests were not covered by the provincial health plan, and gave me the opportunity to decline those tests. Lab was on the lower level, a short flight of stairs, i am uncertain if there is an elevator to get down. Waiting area was 3 (or 4) rows of 4 seats, with additional seats in the hall outsite. I came at a not busy time, so the seating was ample. Facility seemed clean, but dated. Nurse did a great job, which is very important.!!!
The technician was wonderful. Unfortunately she was only there for a vacation relief! The rest of my experience horrible. I didn't know people can make an appointment, wasn't informed of a wait time. There is a TV screen which is very dark, that has people in order of wait time's but didn't realize that until an hour into my wait. I asked when willI it be my turn and that's when another client pointed to the TV. 1 hour and 45 min of.my day wasted. Other Lifeabs in and out in maximum 30 minutes. Also the one technician taking people in is beyond pushy and has no patience!
The front receptionist is abrubpt... Make sure you all have your papers in order, health card in hand and promptly answer her questions. They also close earlier than 4pm (3:51pm).
I have gone to 3 other lifelabs so far and this is my favorite. It can be busy sometimes but usually I dont wait long even if I am a walk-in. The staff has always been quick, professional and friendly.
Crazy long lines with an office that is way too small and provides no privacy. The office is essentially just a small room which is both a waiting room and has two cubicles for pulling blood. It's very weird and uncomfortable. I am giving 4* only because the staff were great on my visit. That said, I'll find another lab next time.
My favourite lab in Aurora. Make an appointment online beforehand to avoid a long wait.
