I love Aurora Piercing Boutique! The staff is super friendly and helpful and takes the time to really walk you through the piercing process, education on after care and answer any questions or concerns you may have. I went to them for my birthday a few years ago and got two cartilage piercings that are just beautiful and healed so nicely. I went to see them again to have my nose pierced and love the result. You couldn’t ask for a better experience. Chris and his staff are the only place I will go to have my piercings done.

I came in to get my lip and septum pierced and received excellent customer service. The piercer was perhaps the best piercer I've had. He offered suggestions for jewelry, was very friendly and did a fantastic job piercing. I'd been told by friends that septum piercings felt like getting punched in the nose, but it was perhaps the least painful piercing I've had. Beautiful jewelry, great service, wonderful overall experience. I will be going here for any other piercings I decide to get!

For years I have wanted to get my nose pierced and I finally did it!!! 60 years old but what the heck!!! I searched Google and found Aurora Piercing Botique and so glad I chose them!!! The staff was beyond exceptional and the boutique was the cleanest I've seen!!!! Thank you to the staff @ Aurora Piercing Boutique for giving this "old lady" an amazing experience!!! I cannot overstate how much I recommend Aurora and particularly Chris for anyone else considering getting their first piercing! He was open about the process and professional, but still friendly enough that I felt comfortable. Selection of jewelry was diverse and I love the piece I chose. They really do mean you get every penny you pay. If you're looking for a sign in the reviews to book your appointment, this is it!

Can't even begin to explain the level of professionalism here. I had my daughter for 5 days over spring break from downstate and she had just had her 7th. birthday party. I gave her some dollar store earrings as part of her birthday present as a sort of hint to getting her ears pierced. She has been talking about wanting her ears pierced for a year or so but she was hesitant, for obvious reasons. I mean what kid actually wants to volunteer to be impaled with a needle?? My daughter!! We packed her clothes in the car to make the trip back to her mom's house 5 and a half hours away but she wanted her ears pierced before she went home. I called the owner Chris, of Aurora Piercing and he politely informed me that they were booked solid until the following week and as the dad of a little blonde hair, blue eyed girl my heart broke. I told Chris that wouldn't work because she was headed back to her mom's but I appreciate his time. This was right around noon on a Friday, their busiest day and Chris says we will see you at 2:00, I will squeeze her in. He didn't have to do that. I didn't ask him to. Im pretty sure it meant a lot more to me than it did my daughter! A few tears later and her ears were pierced with a pair of top notch aquamarine gemstone studs that my daughter picked out from Auroras' selection. Thanks again Chris. You're the best!!

So happy with my experience at Aurora Piercing Boutique! The jewelry is displayed nicely and there are a lot of options to choose from. The shop is extremely clean. Chris is awesome! He is professional and really knows what he’s doing. They were helpful in picking which size earrings would best fit my ears. Made me feel comfortable and everything went so much smoother than I expected. I’m very happy I chose a place that specializes in piercings only and if I choose to get others, this is the only place I’d go!

About a week ago, I went in and got my industrial repierced. I received great customer service from Chris(the piercer) as well as the receptionist. I was pierced with too short of a bar and have no room for swelling. After about 3-4 days of it swelling and being a new piercing, I called to have them look at it. I talked to Brooke. She looked at it and proceeded to tell me that she did not think I needed a longer bar even though one of my ball end pieces is digging into my ear. She proceeded to advice me to do warm towel compresses 3-4 times 2 times a day. A towel compress with the same towel 3-4 times in one sitting can cause an infection as it will keep getting new bacteria on it. She also told me that I should get a travel pillow to sleep with( I do agree with this as I’ve heard it as a great tip a few times). She told me that she didn’t think my swelling wouldn’t get much worse even though it was still a fresh piercing.

I had a great experience getting my ears pierced today. Chris took the time to talk through the types of earrings I like to wear. He made sure the placement was perfect to allow me to wear bigger styles in my original piercing while still seeing the new piercing. The cabochon moonstone earrings he helped me pick out are gorgeous. It was clean and professional. Highly recommend!
