I needed a referral for a podiatrist to get my traumatized toenail removed, and she convinced me I could get it done at a dermatologist office. I knew I needed a podiatrist, but I decided to go with her advice. I show up to the dermatologist and they tell me there's a type of doctor that specializes in feet and toes called a podiatrist... they can't do the procedure. Complete waste of time.

Jeanette has been nothing but a pleasure. I choose to see her over my pcp because I have full faith in her and she always takes the time to listen to me and she really educates me. I’ve never had another medical professional take the time to ensure I understand what is going on with my health/body or what causes various symptoms. From illnesses, yearly check ups, to referrals for an injury I suffered after an auto accident- she cares and is very thorough. She has always advocated for on going good health and explains the importance of taking care of our health. My husband and I both have our pcp at University Physicans but see Jeanette whenever we have something going on! I am continually impressed by her vast medical knowledge.
Had an appointment with Dr Bettes regarding personal health issues and felt like I was talking to a wall. My concerns were not taken seriously whatsoever, as a matter of fact they were taken very lightly. She was quick to prescribe medication for adrenaline, yet she did no tests on my adrenaline levels. There was no logic behind her plan of action for me. On top of all of that, she was not familiar with FMLA or how it worked. Zero sympathy for the patient, and only cares about writing prescriptions rather than trying to find the true source of the pain. A pill for every ill - she does not see my problem as a serious one, but she goes ahead and prescribes medication anyway. I will be finding a new dr's office asap
I had my o charge\ annual wellness exam with Jeanette Bettes, PA. Later a bill arrived and my insurance company wanted to charge me for the bloodwork because Ms. Bettes noted a diagnosis of osteoarthritis and added a vitamin D test to the lab, which made the entire lab diagnostic not preventative. I email her twice and called her office twice and never heard from her.
Jeanette has always been caring and has never been in a rush when I go see her. She takes good care of her patients.
